Gym sport

On the 2nd of April room12 went to the hall to do gymnastics. There were two ladies from sport waikato that showed room12 how to do the gymnastics moves correctly. Since I already do gymnastics it was really basic for me. A few things we did were scorpion kicks, spring board jumps, bunny hops and more. If you want a few tips here are some: Stay tight, have fun and enjoy it. Hopefully those tips were helpful:) Look at me doing my gymnastics!

Roman Numerals

Hi there. If you look to the left you will see a poster on Roman Numerals. Emily and I decided together on what our poster was going to be about. First Emily and I had to do a draft in my maths book to know what we were doing and to know what patterns we were going to use. After the draft Emily and I went onto the good copy on an A3 size paper. The poster took Emily and I 3 days to complete. If you want to check your answers to these questions come to room12.

Swimmimg Sports

On Thursday the 8th of March it was the senior swimming sports at the town pools. At school the whole syndicate crammed into two buses then off we go to the pools with our bag, hats and heaps more. Finally the syndicate arrived at the pools. We all crammed into the changing rooms and all came out in one bit ready for our races. We all have house colours and the house colours are Ngata, Hillary, Rutherford and Baton.

I also took part in the relay team!

Warm and Cold Colors

In room12, for art we have been leaning to put some colors into groups. The groups are WARM and COLD colors. These are the colors:

Warm Cold

Pink Blue

Red Green

Orange Purple

Brown

Yellow

I will now tell you what some the colors reminds me of:

Warm:
Red- like fire

Orange- like the sun

Brown- like dirt

Yellow- hot like the golden sand at the beach

Cold:

Blue- like the sky

Green- like the grass

After we learnt the colors we started to do our place mats for our tables and we also did bubble art. Here is a photo of my table mat.

High Jump

This is a video of me doing high and the leg that is closest to the mat is the one that you lift up. I hope you will like my high jump video:).

Athletics

On Wednesday the 23rd of November the middle and the senior syndicate went out for athletics. The activities that we had to do were , long jump , high jump , 60 metre sprint , 100 metre sprints , 200 metre , throwing and just to keep our hearts pumping , it was the energising games. After lunch the middles race in a relay and room 7 won and after us the seniors race in the relay and it was a tied between room 15 and room 14.

Fractions

Jack had 24 apples. He gave 1\6 of these to Mike. How many apples did Mike get? 4
1\6 of 24 =4

Long Jump

I can use my arms to help myself to jump higher in the air.

I need to work on to keep using my arms.

Spotlight on the Arts

This is photo of me in the spotlight on the arts show. I was preforming jump jam on that Wednesday night. The spotlight on the arts was the best night of my life and I hope I can do it some other time next year!

Teacher

My teacher Mrs Natusch who is the best teacher because she teaches me cool things about learning and she makes leaning fun. Mrs Natusch teaches me all the things I need to know later on in senior syndicate next year.

Computers

I think computers are cool because they have lots of information that you could learn from and they are easy to use. You and also watch videos, play games and go on blogs sites, you can go on web sites like voice thread, blogger.com and photo peach to make videos. I especially like going on computer games because they are lots of fun.
